This weekend I was up at a friend's trailer and in the evening we decided we wanted to make S'mores.

Turns out Smores are not as easy to make over the camp fire as you'd think.

We tried 3 methods:
1. Created a smore - putting the graham cracker down, placing a couple of pieces of milk chocolate on top and then a marshmellow on top of that. Wrapping it all in foil and placing on coals. This was bad. Cracker burnt - everything else melted. Eating was not possible (unless you like burnt cracker/cookies).

2. Roasting the marshmellow first and then placing on top of chocolate in between crackers. Again, not successful.

3. Creating the packet the same way as in the first attempt bu tthis time placing on a rock surrounding the fire therefore letting the heat from the fire melt. Again unsuccessful. Maybe this would work if we had more patience.

4. Creating the package and holding over the fire using the marshmellow stick. This almost worked - although you definitely need patience!
