Today
I got an interesting link from my friend Joan. It was of course
forwarded to her from someone else. It tells the story of the Braball
and the artist who made it. Essentially it is a ball made of thousands
of bras linked together. It weighs over 1800pds I think!
At any
rate how this ball came to be is a really interesting story and kudos
to the artist who organized and to all the people who helped her.

First Snow

Yesterday
it snowed. Not alot but enough to give me a fuzzy feeling inside with
thoughts of Christmas and all those other thoughts that come with that:
end of the year, meeting up with friends, shovelling the driveway,
getting stuck in snow mounds, coming home and the only sound you can
hear is the crunching of the snow your feet make... (one of my
favourite sounds actually!)
This morning when I went to get the paper at breakfast I noticed everything was covered in a light layer of snow again. More than yesterday. It was already melting by the time I drove to work, but it was nice anyways. |
